Record Store Day: World's Most Popular Music Holiday Conceived at BullMoose
When Bullmoose's 2012 Record Store Day website says, "Celebrate Record Store Day with the people who invented it," they mean it, literally. Considered the most popular music holiday in the world, Record Store Day, was conceived by Chris Brown, VP of Bull Moose stores. Celebrated annually every third Saturday in April, Record Store Day is already in its fifth year and it's a big deal. On this day, hundreds of independently-owned record stores celebrate the art of music with live performances, give-aways, and limited edition vinyl and CD releases made especially for the occasion by tons of artists. So if you want to celebrate Record Store Day at the store that started it all, you won't have to go far! Record Store day is Saturday, April 21st. For more information, check out both the Record Store Day website and BullMoose's Record Store Day website.
